Setting yourself up for online consultation…

Dear customer,

As you have booked in for an online consultation, you will have to access Zoom from an internet-connected device that is equipped with a Camera and Microphone. Such devices can include:

✔️Desktop computer

✔️Laptop

✔️Tablet

✔️Smartphone

If you are using a smart device such as a smartphone or tablet, you will need to download the Zoom App from either the Appstore or the Google Play store.

When joining a meeting, you should be prompted to join the meeting with device video. Please accept this prompt. Then you should be prompted to join with device audio accept this prompt as well. All this basically means is that you are turning on the camera and microphone so you can be both seen and heard during your consultation.

If you do not get prompted for both Video and Audio. Make sure you go and check the settings in the toolbar at the bottom of the chat window.

If you still cannot be heard ensure that you are not muted in the toolbar at the bottom of the window.

Cancellation / Reschedule Policy

Cancellation / Re-schedule Policy

✔️We understand that daily life/challenges can complicate attending your appointment.

✔️We simply ask that when making an appointment you know that this time is a convenient time for yourself.

✔️We truly appreciate you carefully reading, understanding and agreeing to this policy.

✔️Many other health care practices have introduced similar cancellation policies.

We are asking that in the event of a cancellation, we are given two business days notice.

This will allow other clients the opportunity to use these times.

  1. In the event that you need to reschedule/cancel an appointment, email or call the clinic and leave a message at our office at least two business days prior to your appointed day and time.

  2. In the event that you

    • a. cancel your appointment

    • b. reschedule an appointment

    for a non emergency reason less than two business days prior to your appointment, you will be able to reschedule your appointment to another time.

    However. in continual cases of rescheduling / cancellations, we may request that the consultation fee is prepaid confirming your allocated time slot. This amount will be non-refundable and cannot be changed to another time.

  3. In the rare event that clients miss an appointment without notice (no show) we will contact you and notify you of this. In many cases this is an honest oversight. The choice to reschedule your appointment to another suitable time will be encouraged. In continual cases of missing your appointment, a now show fee of $45 will be charged.

  4. Cancellations for emergency reasons are excluded from this policy.Emergency reasons include accidents/unavoidable priority situations, sudden sickness of self or immediate family member.Unfortunately, we have had to implement this policy due to appointments being cancelled with little or no notice. When clients do not attend (no show) or cancel appointments for non-emergency reasons we are unable to fill our vacancies or offer available times clients on our waiting list.Thank you for your co-operation.
